On Sunday:

Kilrich 8, Air North 3

Mark was King for the night as he recorded five assists to lead Kilrich to an 8-3 win over Air North in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday night at Takhini Arena. Derek Bilodeau and Ben Kielb each scored three goals for Kilrich, and Darrell Thompson and Les Luciuk added singles. Mike Gau scored twice for Air North and Daryl Berube once for the air crew.

AON Flames 5, Medicine Chest 0

Darryl Cann was flawless in the AON net, Blaine Demchuk led the way offensively with the hat-trick, and Rick Smith and Gary McKellar (three assists also) rounded out the scoring.

Tim Hortons 3, Yukon Inn 0

Martin Bonenfant celebrated his call-up from the minors to record the shutout for Tims. Bruce Milligan (power play), Doug Cote and Mike Blower did the damage for Tim Hortons.

Firth Rangers 4, EDI 0

And the third shutout of the evening was recorded by Rob Green in net for Firth. Joe Haggett continued his scoring surge with two goals, and Peter Johnston and Erik von Flowtow tallied one each.

On Thursday:

Yukon Inn 3, EDI 1

Murray Arsenault dazzled the crowd at Takhini Arena Thursday night with the game winner to lead Yukon Inn over EDI in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action. Shawn Kinsella and Greg Charlie also scored for the hoteliers. Johnny Sembsmoen replied for EDI.

Tim Hortons 8, Firth Rangers 3

Wynn Griffith continued his ascent up the league’s scoring ladder, as he recorded a hat-trick and chipped in a helper to lead Tims. Greg Lane added a pair for Tims, and Bernie Adilman, Mike Menzies and Gary Jerome rounded out the scoring. For Firth, James Pugsley popped the water bottle (literally), and Peter Johnston and Damon Crosby also contributed goals.

On Wednesday:

Air North 3, AON Flames 3

Wednesday night, Mike Gau scored a power-play goal with 32 seconds left to propel Air North into the tie. Briar Young and 70-something Brian Gudmundson also scored for Air North. Gary McKellar (shorthanded), Kevin Johnstone and Blaine Demchuk replied for AON.

Kilrich 6, Medicine Chest 2

Derek Bilodeau scored twice and added two helpers to pace Kilrich. Dustin Heffner added a pair of his own, and Mark King and the ageless Les Luciuk also chipped in goals. Stu Mackay and Michael Svoboda did the damage for Medicine Chest.
