Brown tiptoes his way to success

Jim Brown’s legendary diet should be made into a book, movie and lecture tour, because his performances since he started his program have been nothing short of remarkable. Brown led the fightback for his team Yukon Info.com against top of the table Yukon Brewing in over 35 soccer action bringing them back to tie at 2-2.

Yukon Brewing was looking good for the win, after an own goal and Guliano Rayo had scored, they were also flexing their muscles winding up to put Yukon Info to the sword, but Brown was everywhere like a demented bee. He grabbed both of Yukon Info’s goals and was driving his team forward inspiring them to greater efforts. Mark Sebek and Russell McDiarmid were also having great games snapping into tackles that kept the Brew off of their normal high tempo. The fans watching agreed that this was the best game of the season, as both teams played their hearts out at a furious pace, making it a grand advertisement for the league. These are the best two team playing this year and it will be no surprise to see them playing each other in the final of the playoffs.

KBS’s magnificent 7

After last week’s drubbing, Klondike Business Solutions needed a big response and they got it as they piled on the misery for Driving Force, blowing them away 7-0 in the late game at the Canada Games Centre.

Justin Carre helped himself to a hat trick as KBS played with a higher intensity missing in the last game, they never gave Driving Force a foothold in the game as David Rayo 2, Iain Breckenridge and James Wigmore all scored. More pleasing was the fact that they didn’t concede a goal for their first clean sheet of the season. Goher Hafeez, Gareth Howells and Breckenridge all had good games, they were well marshalled by sub goalie Jan Aalt van den Hoorn as he barked out instructions playing most of the game as an auxiliary centre half.

Driving Force were missing a couple of influential players but need to pull themselves together otherwise their season will not have a happy ending.
