AON 2, Medicine Chest 0

Darryl Cann stopped everything to lead AON to the shutout win over Medicine Chest in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday at Takhini Arena. Blaine Demchuk and Rick Smith supplied all the offence.

Kilrich 6, Air North 1

Mark King padded his lead atop the scoring race with two goals and two assists for Kilrich. Dustin Heffner, Derek Bilodeau, Dave White and Ben Campbell also tallied for the skaters in yellow. Brent Stokes scored late for Air North to spoil the shutout.

Tim Hortons 7, Yukon Inn 2

Martin Lawrie shone in his season debut with three goals for Tims. Wynn Griffith added a pair of markers, and Gregor Gabb and Greg Lane rounded out the scoring for the coffee crew. Mike Jim and Garrett Kuptana replied for the Inn, and goalie Floyd McCormick was heroic in net.

Firth 7, EDI 2

Blayne Monahan made the most of plenty of ice time as he was in on all of his team’s goals with three goals and four assists. Gerry Rivest and Rick Gingell each sniped a couple as well. Marcel Barrault and Stu MacMillan responded for EDI.
