The Mikes were at it again for Tim Hortons in Senior Circuit action of Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey Sunday night at Takhini Arena. Mikes Sage (three), Jim (one) and Blower (one) did most of the damage as the donut gang downed Medicine Chest 7-1. Greg Lane got the other two in the win. Floyd ‘Larocque’ McCormick was scintillating in net for the Timbits. Martin Lawrie spoiled McCormick’s shutout bid with 4:30 remaining.

The other Senior game saw EDI down Air North 5-3. For EDI, Bobby Allison said he scored a highlight-reel goal (league officials are checking the beta game tape to confirm), and Rick Smith, Dean Hassard, Tom Ullyett and Laurie Malo added the others in the triumph. Adam Green piloted in a pair for Air North, and Dave Wipf got the other.

In Junior action, Geordan Clark scored the game winner with 5:35 on the clock to lead CapriCMW over Firth 4-1. Mike Smith opened the scoring for Capri, and Kevin Johnstone and Gus Morberg scored late in the victory. Michael Svoboda scored Firth’s only goal.

Kilrich held off a late Yukon Inn surge to hang on to a 5-4 win on the other Junior match. Ben Mercier and Clint Ireland each netted two for the builders, and Arlo O’Riordan got the other. For the Innkeepers, it was Alfred Feldman, Sean Sheardown, Walt Liley and Colin Nash doing the damage.
