Gary Jerome brought his own crowd (his kids) to his game Sunday night, and he didn’t disappoint them, as he racked up four goals to lead Air North to an 8-2 win over Tim Hortons in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action at Takhini Arena.
Dustin Heffner chipped in two goals, and Bruce Milligan (with a rifle shot from the point) and Stu MacMillan also scored. For Timmy’s it was Gerry Brandt and Lester Balsillie.
Medicine Chest 6, EDI 4
Derek Bilodeau led the Chest charge, scoring twice, and singles came off the sticks of Bill Cullen, George Skookum, Michael Svoboda and Stu Mackay. Jeff Jensen netted a pair for EDI, and Mike Sage and Dean Hassard also scored.
Firth 6, AON 6
Firth rallied from a three-goal deficit to tie the game late on a goal by Mark King, his third of the contest. Mike Muller, Chris Lane and Tom Ullyett also connected for Firth. Scott Palfreyman and Blayne Monahan scored two apiece, and Joel Witten and Mervin Jacobsen responded for AON.
Kilrich 4, Yukon Inn 2
Brian Currie scored on an end-to-end rush to open the scoring for Kilrich, and they hung on from there for the win. Peter Johnston, Chris Carli and Colin Nash rounded out the scoring for the builders. Shawn Kinsella netted both for the Inn.
