Shawn Kinsella scored the game-tying goal midway through period two to give Yukon Inn a 3-3 tie with CapriCMW in Junior Circuit play in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey Thursday night at Takhini Arena. Tyson Wirth and Chad Cowan also scored for the Inn, while Pat Tobler potted two and Blayne Monahan one for Capri.

The second Junior tilt saw Kilrich thump Firth 9-3. Ben Kielb collected the hatty, Arlo O’Riordan scored one and added four helpers, Chris Nash netted two, and Mark King, Ben Campbell and Ed van Randen rounded out the Kilrich counters. For Firth, it was Marcel Barrault, Dustin Heffner and Elgin Schwantz with one each.

We all know the connotation of ‘666,’ but the devil is in the details lately for Air North as they scored six times for the third game in a row, all victories, in Senior action last Wednesday night.

Chris Lane and Dave Wipf each landed two for Air North as they outscored Tim Hortons 6-4. Adam Green and Doug Janzen also scored for the flight crew. Timbits to tickle the twine were Lorne Burnett, Mike Jim, Lester Balsillie and Gary Vantell.

The other senior game saw EDI edge Medicine Chest 2-1. Wade Harrison and Rick Smith did the damage for EDI, while Mark Pike rifled home his second of the season in defeat.
