Darryl Cann showed no rust from a conditioning stint in the minors, as he posted a shutout in his first game back to lead Yukon Inn over Medicine Chest 4-0 in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Thursday night at Takhini Arena. Ben Kielb and Greg Charlie each scored twice to lead the innkeepers.

Firth 7, Air North 2

Mark King poured in four goals to lead Firth, and Mike Muller, Chris Lane and Gord Campbell each chipped in one. Arlo O’Riordan added three assists. The two Bernies (Heffner and Adilman) accounted for the Air North scoring.

Wednesday:

AON 7, Tim Hortons 5

Walt Liley scored twice and added two helpers to pace AON to the win. Linemates Kevin Johnstone and Mervin Jacobsen each added a goal, and Blayne Monahan, Lance Bevilacqua and Steve Arrell rounded out the scoring. Josh Turcotte netted a pair for Tims, and Duane Purych, Lester Balsillie and Gerry Brandt (three assists as well) completed the scoring.

Kilrich 4, EDI 0

Rob Clarke stopped everything directed his way for his first shutout of the season to lead Kilrich. Chris Nash continued to rake as he potted a hat trick, and Peter Johnston added a solo effort.
