Mike Gau scored on a penalty shot with 1:22 left in the game to cap a furious comeback and earn Air North the tie in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday night at Takhini Arena. Al Hansen and Mike Burnett also scored for Air North, as they erased a 3-0 deficit to gain the point. Gary Jerome, Greg Lane and Anthony Grotolli tallied for Tims.

Kilrich Building Centre, 10 Yukon Inn 3

All Kilrich skaters recorded at least one point in the victory (even Dean Hassard collected two assists!). Mark King led the way again with three goals and two assists, Arlo Riordan added two and two, and solo goals came from Ben Kielb, Ben Campbell, Dave White, Dustin Heffner and Les Luciuk. Mike Jim popped in a pair in defeat and Gord Campbell added the third for the innkeepers.

Firth Rangers 4, AON Flames 2

Blayne Monahan, Peter Johnston, Joel Witten and Gerry Rivest scored for Firth as they upset AON. Kevin Johnstone and recent retiree Tom Ullyett replied for AON.

EDI 4, Medicine Chest 2

Colin Nash extracted a goal from his stick with 34 seconds left in the game, and then drilled home an empty-netter 13 seconds later to lead EDI to the win. Maxime-Dugre Sasseville scored yet again, and Clint Ireland also connected for EDI. For Medicine Chest it was Bill Bohmer and Josh Turcotte with the goals.
