It was a hat trick night in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday at the Canada Game Centre, as four players collected three-goal games.

Dave Wipf scored his hat trick goal with just over two minutes left on the clock to cap a furious comeback and land Air North a 5-4 win over Medicine Chest in Senior Circuit action. Adam Green got the other two goals in the win, which Air North trailed 4-2 at one point. Dave White pumped in a pair for Medicine Chest, and singles came from Al Hanson and Dave Bakica.

In the other Senior game, Garrett Kuptana dangled for a hat trick of his own as Tim Hortons double EDI 6-3. Greg Lane, Mike Sage, and Mike Jim also tallied for Tims. For EDI, it was Wade Harrison, Laurie Malo, and Rick Smith.

In Junior action, Rob Green posted a shutout as Yukon Inn blanked the Firth Rangers 3-0. Shawn Kinsella, Alfred Feldman, and Walt Liley provided the offence.

And Kilrich kept rampaging along, outscoring CapriCMW to the tune of 10-5. Chris Nash yet again posted a trio of goals, and seven other skaters connected once each – Brian Currie, Ben Mercier, Ben Kielb, Myles Dolphin, Tim van Hinte, Arlo O’Riordan, and Mark King. For Capri, it was Blayne Monahan with his own trifecta, and Kevin Johnstone and Gary McKellar with one apiece.

Defence led the way offensively for CapriCMW as they outscored the Firth Rangers 7-4 in Junior Circuit action in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey Thursday night at Takhini Arena. D-men Scott Palfreyman scored twice and Gary McKellar added four assists in the win. Other goal scorers were Blayne Monahan, Kevin Johnstone, Martin O’Hagan, Geordan Clark, and Briar Young.
