Tim Hortons 2, AON 1

Mike ‘Grizz’ Menzies rifled home a perfect pass from Mike Blower midway through the second period to lift Tims to the tight victory over AON in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Thursday night at Takhini Arena. Gary Jerome added the other for the Timbits in the battle for second place, and Wade Hanna replied for AON.

Air North 7, Firth Rangers 1

Mike Gau continued his tear with a hat trick for Air North, and solo efforts came from Daryl Berube, Briar Young, Al Hansen and Brent Stokes. Blayne Monahan lit the lamp for Firth.

EDI 5, Kilrich 0

Eugene Johnson stood tall to earn his first shutout of the season in the upset win. Chris Lane, Stu MacMillan, Maxime Dugre-Sasseville (yet again!), Ty Heffner and Colin Nash supplied the scoring.

Medicine Chest 9, Yukon Inn 5

Powerplays were the story in this game, as the pharmacists scored three times with the man advantage and Yukon Inn tallied two. For the Chest crew, Chris Nash nailed the hat trick, Adam Green added a pair, powerplay markers came from Bill Bohmer, Michael Svoboda and Josh Turcotte, and Myles Dolphin rounded out the scoring. For the Inn, Kirk Price also collected a hat trick (one on the pp), and Carl Cibart (pp) and Greg Charlie added one goal apiece
