Mike Gau scored with 28 seconds left to propel Air North to a 5-4 win over Medicine Chest

Mike Gau scored with 28 seconds left to propel Air North to a 5-4 win over Medicine Chest in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey play Wednesday night at Takhini Arena. Gau added another in the win, Mike Burnett chipped in two of his own, and Al Hansen contributed one from the back end. Stu Mackay continues to defy his age as he scored twice in defeat, and singles came off the sticks of Josh Turcotte (two assists as well) and Chrish Nash.

AON Flames 5, EDI 3

Kevin Johnstone sniped a pair for AON, and Paul Sullivan, Jeff Jensen and Dave Wipf added one each. For EDI, it was Stu MacMillan, Max Dugre-Sasseville and Marcel Barrault doing the damage.

Kilrich 6, Tim Hortons 3

Mark King torched Tims with two goals and three assists, Ben Kielb added two and two, and Derek Bilodeau and Tim Turner-Davis also scored. For Tims, it was Wynn Griffith, Ed van Randen and Gary Jerome scoring.

Yukon Inn 7, Firth 4

Greg Charlie netted two for the Inn, Kirk Price added a goal and three helpers, and Garrett Zacharias, Steve Arrell (on the power play!), Gord Campbell and John Pereira also make the scoresheet. For Firth, Gerry Rivest led the way with two goals, and solo snipes came from Joe Haggett and Frank Thomas.
