Scott Olafson did his best Borje Salming impersonation Thursday night in Junior Circuit action of Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey at Takhini Arena. The fleet-footed d-man scored twice, as did Sean Sheardown, to lead Yukon Inn to a 6-4 victory over the Firth Rangers. Other Inn markers came from Alfred Feldman and Colin Nash. For Firth, it was Mark Bowen with his first as an oldtimer, and Dustin Heffner, Pete Johnston and Gerry Brandt.

The second Junior tilt saw Kilrich saw up CapriCMW 6-2. Six different players nailed goals for the yellow jerseys – Mark King, Ben Campbell, Derek Bilodeau, Chris Nash, Arlo O’Riordan and Myles Dolphin. Capri snipers were Mike Smith and Kevin Johnstone.

In Senior action Wednesday night, Pete Mostyn collected a hat trick and two assists as Medicine Chest grounded Air North 7-2. Dave Bakica continued his goal-scoring assault with a pair, and Al Hanson and Martin Lawrie netted solo shots. For the flight crew, it was Daryl Berube and Chris Lane connecting.

The other Senior match was a tight affair, with EDI and Tim Hortons skating to a 1-1 stalemate. Wade Harrison, activated from EDI’s taxi squad just before game time, scored for them, and Greg Lane replied for Tims.
