Mike Blower scored twice, one of them shorthanded, to jet Air North past Tim Hortons 6-2 in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday at Takhini Arena. The defence-turned forward line of James Pugsley (three assists), Ken Olson (first goal of the season) and Dale Gray (one goal) also contributed mightily for the Jets. Other Air North markers came from Garrett Zacharias and Dustin Heffner. Gerry Brandt scored both goals for Tims.

AON 7, Firth 2

Walt Liley and Blayne Monahan each netted two goals for AON in an all-insurance battle, with singles coming from Rick Gingell, Mervyn Jacobsen and Joel Witten. Gord Campbell scored both for Firth.

Medicine Chest 4, EDI 1

Kirk Price was money on Sunday, firing home three of his team’s goals. Bill Cullen added the other. For EDI, it was Rick Smith with the goal.

Kilrich 3, Yukon Inn 2

All goals were scored in the first period in this match, with Colin Nash, Peter Johnston and Chris Carli doing the damage for Kilrich, and Ben Kielb and Shawn Kinsella replying for Yukon Inn.
