EN ROUTE – Sports around the Yukon are starting to pick up but the sports world is still a long way from returning to it’s former self. So, once again we will be taking a trip back to explore the goings on of the past. The photos shown were published in the Star around July 6 and range from 2011-2015. Above, Carter Johnson, a previous Yukon River Quest winner, paddles the Yukon River in July 2011 on his way to breaking a Guinness World record for most miles kayaked in 24 hours.
