Adil Khalik has one of the hardest shots in the league, and is lethal when he has his sights set on goal, on Saturday against Driving Force he fired in two goals as his team Yukon Info.com ran out 6-3 winners.

This game was full of class and smart goals as both teams tried for the win, Danny Macdonald was pulling the strings and Ciaran Connolly was putting in the hard yards for Yukon Info, allowing Phil Jackson to get two goals and JP Ladroue to get a brace for himself with two fine goals.

While Miles Hume, two, and Leonard Linklater grabbed goals for a depleted Driving Force side, that never reached the heights of last weeks performance.

Fru heroics help KBS
to a rare win

Franklin Fru has been plagued with injuries this season, but he seems to be on the mend as he put in the kind of shift that he is known and loved for. Fru was instrumental in all of KBS’s attacking intent getting a goal for himself and helping Andy Todd get two, as they opened up a 3-1 lead by half time.

In the second half the nerves were apparent for KBS, as they haven’t found themselves in a lead for a long time. Fru took it on himself to curb his attacking flair and try and shore up the defence although he was culpable for the Yukon Brewing second goal, this left a nervy final few minutes for the boys in blue, but they held on for only their second win of the season. Yukon Brewing were missing skipper Mark O Brien who was on home renovation duty and Iain Breckenridge who was suffering from the Glasgow flu. Mark Sebek and Ciaran Connolly got the Brew’s goals.

Carre gives Pepsi
a master class

Justin Carre was in simply irresistible form and he stroked in four goals as Westmark eased to a 4-2 win over Pepsi. Although the first half was hard-fought without a big difference in the two sides, the second half proved to be very difficult for the Pepsi team as they ran out of gas. Carre instigated a trail of destruction every-time he received the ball, in the aftermath of one goal there were no less than three players on the floor as he wheeled away celebrating his goal.

The Westmark team is a very balanced and coordinated team, with James Wigmore, John Macphail and Dale Cheeseman all very confident on the ball, while the defence of the handsome pair of Jason Steele and Graham White have the speed and panache to curtail most attacks.

For Pepsi, in form Guliano Rayo and Fabian Glyka both scored.
