DPSAY holds races at Gunnar Nilsson and Mickey Lammers Research Forest

The Dog Powered Sports Association of the Yukon (DPSAY) held their canicross and bikejoring races at the Gunnar Nilsson and Mickey Lammers Research Forest Saturday.

The Dog Powered Sports Association of the Yukon (DPSAY) held their canicross and bikejoring races at the Gunnar Nilsson and Mickey Lammers Research Forest Saturday. The research forest is located 19 km north of Whitehorse along the North Klondike Highway.

The races included one and two mile bikejors and a three mile canicross.

Winterlong Brewing Co. sponsored the races.

Daren and Maureen Gallo donated a bikejoring antenna.

Sarah and Simon Angerer helped out with the races.

Their next race is going to be on Fox Creek road, on Oct. 8 at noon. They will send directions to the exact location by email soon. If you are not on their mailing list, please send an email to dogpoweredsports@gmail.com to get the directions. They will have a four mile bikejoring and canicross and a six mile canicross.
