Stu MacMillan returned from a team-mandated conditioning stint with something to prove, and he did so in style with a goal and three assists to lead Air North to their first victory of the season, 5-2 over EDI, in the Senior Circuit of Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey on Sunday night at Takhini Arena. Dave Wipf, Steve Arrell, Daryl Berube and Chris Lane were flying with one goal each for Air North. For EDI, it was Rick Smith and Tim Turner-Davis with the goals.

Other Senior action saw Tim Hortons down Medicine Chest 5-2. Brewing up goals for the Tims troupe were Mike Jim (three assists), Bernie Adilman, Mike Blower, George Morgan and Ron Daub (with a dandy top-shelf effort!). For the Chest, it was Pete Mostyn (with a laser shot) and Al Hanson (on the first shift of the game!).

Junior Circuit play saw Greg Charlie score three goals (two assists) to lead Firth over AON 9-3 in an insurance company battle. Caleb Tomlinson, Mike Gau (three assists), Jacob Pokiak, Anthony Grottoli, Gerry Brandt and Peter Johnston added one goal apiece for the Rangers. AON was paced by Gus Morberg, Scott Palfreyman and Chris Carli.

And Kilrich won their sixth straight by outscoring Yukon Inn 7-5. Chris Nash and Arlo O’Riordan lumbered up ice to score two each, and Ed van Randen, Derek Bilodeau and Myles Dolphin connected once. The Inn registered goals from James ‘Pelyk’ Pugsley (two markers), Shawn Kinsella (four assists), Duane Purych and Colin Nash.
