Whitehorse Motors and Ford Canada, Western Division will power the 2014 Yukon Quest as a major sponsor.

The automotive partners will provide rental vehicles for the race team and race officials to travel between checkpoints on the trail.

Whitehorse Motors and Ford Canada were also major sponsors of last year’s Quest.

“Whitehorse Motors and Ford Canada are once again delighted to be supporting the Yukon Quest,” said Tina Woodland, general manager of Whitehorse Motors. “This dog sled race is an extraordinary event which defines the spirit of our North like none other. We wish all the mushers and dog teams, event organizers and countless volunteers the best success for the 31st running of the toughest dog sled race in the world.”

The 31st Yukon Quest starts Feb. 1 in Fairbanks.
