TRICKS OF THE TRADE – Takhini Arena was abuzz with goalies over the holidays as JF Martel of WorldPro Goaltending put on a clinic Dec. 21 to 23. Gerry Perrier, development co-ordinator with the Whitehorse Minor Hockey Association, spearheaded the clinic. Perrier’s son, Ian, was one of the lead demonstrators. The 22 goalies in attendance were split into two groups – beginner and intermediate/advanced. WorldPro has been affiliated with the WMHA and the Yukon Amateur Hockey Association since 2006.
