Envirolube wins big in in novice hockey game

Bryce Anderson brought his 'A' game for Envirolube on Sunday in the team's contest against Yukon Office Supply in the novice hockey division.

Bryce Anderson brought his ‘A’ game for Envirolube on Sunday in the team’s contest against Yukon Office Supply in the novice hockey division.

Anderson led all goal scorers with an incredible five goals and also contributed three assists.

Other goal scorers on Envirolube included Jarod McCulloch, Grayson Turner, Ethan Vanderkley and Nicholas MacRury.

Envirolube 9, Yukon Office Supply 4

The goal scorers for Yukon Office Supply were Cameron Bushell, Logan McKay, Dustin Robitaille and Ava Locke.

Yukon Office Supply’s player of the game was Nathan Abel and Envirolube’s player of the game was Lochlan Fraser.

Duncans 6, Northwestel 5

It was a close battle between the Duncans and Northwestel on Sunday in the bantam division.

Thanks to the game winning goal by Brandon Langenham, the Duncans were able to get the 6-5 win.

Ben Pereira led all scorers on the Duncans with two goals, while the team’s other scorers included Colin Kabanak, Kyle Lowes and Lowell Tait.

Rowan Huggard scored a hat trick for Northwestel, while the team’s remaining goals came off the sticks of Jared Worsfold and Austin Turner-Davis.

Pizza Hut 8, Kopper King 2

Cameron Kelly netted a hat trick for Pizza Hut on Sunday in the PeeWee hockey division, while Adam Waddington and Kieran Halliday also played very well, finishing with two goals and one assist.

The team’s remaining scorer was Chris Thompson and Joe Wallingham was named as MVP.

Cole Smeeton and Peter Jensen each scored for the Kopper King, while Trygg Jensen was named as MVP.
