Eman Aguinaldo’s 21 points helped push Vertical Limit past San Isidro 78-74 in Filipino basketball action Sunday.

Marlou Tabujara added 18 and Jerome Manso, 17, in the victory, while San Isidro was led by Tonyo De Leon’s game-high 29.

Edward Torres poured in 15 in the loss, while Marlon De Leon chipped in with 11 at F.H. Collins Secondary.

The second game of the day saw Air North fly past Sun Life Financial 73-67. Air North was led by Noel Pagobo with 17 points, while Luke Mahilum and Ian Pagobo had 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Lawrence Tobias led Sun Life with 13, while David Mindanao had 12.

Meanwhile, the Yukon Men’s Basketball League champion will be crowned Sunday night at Porter Creek Secondary.

The playoffs began Sunday with the Timberwolves beating out Team Yukon and the Eagles downing the Wolverines.

Semifinal action Thursday will see the Timberwolves take on the Huskies and the Eagles battle the Bears.

The Bears had the league’s top regular season record at 6-2.
