NEW ON THE BLOCK

The league’s new team, Midnight Sun United took on Copper Ridge FC in the first game of the season, going down 6-3.

REMATCH

A classic match-up of Porter Creek and Riverdale was slow to start. Despite Peter Mather’s two goals, Porter Creek fell to their rivals 4-2.

Men’s league action continues Friday evening as Midnight Sun United takes on Porter Creek in the early game, while Riverdale faces off against Copper Ridge FC at 8:30 p.m. at the Canada Games Centre.

OLDTIMERS HOCKEY

Kilrich dispatched EDI 6-1 as Medicine Hat volleyed goals against Yukon Inn and won 9-3.
