Pagobo duo leads Air North past I.T. Care

Ian Pagobo scored 22 points and Noel Pagobo added 18 as Air North cruised past I.T. Care 102-89 in local Filipino hoops action Sunday.

Ian Pagobo scored 22 points and Noel Pagobo added 18 as Air North cruised past I.T. Care 102-89 in local Filipino hoops action Sunday.

Luke Mahilum poured in 15 for Air North, who bounced back from a 100-89 loss to Sun Life the night prior.

Sean McCarron scored a game-high 29 points for I.T. Care, while Jay-R Valencia (18) and Trix Lumanog (15) were also in double digits.

The other contest of the night at F.H. Collins Secondary School saw Vertical Limit cruise past San Isidro 83-70.

Jerome Manzo netted a game-high 32 points, while Zymer Balaba (19) and Jong Cortez (12) also scored in double digits for Vertical Limit.

Tonyo De Leon (19) and John Alesna (18) led the way for San Isidro.

Meanwhile, Sun Life hit the century mark en route to a victory over Air North Saturday.

Vanier Crusaders stars Christian Carino (27), Josh Tobias (15), and RJ Siosan (12) showed why the Vanier Crusaders are the class of the high school circuit right now, leading the way for Sun Life.

Another Pagobo – Lyndon – led the way for Air North in that contest with 24 points.

KFC rounded out last weekend’s games with a 88-67 win over USANA.

Aaron Diaz had 22 points for KFC, matched by 22 from USANA’s top scorer Bryan Hermosa.

In other action last month, USANA toppled Air North 98-76 in hoops action Feb. 22, thanks to timely performances from E.G. New (19) and Ian New (18).

On Feb. 21, KFC beat I.T. Care 100-94 and Sun Life – led by Lawrence Tobias’s 18 points – toppled San Isidro 97-58.

On Feb. 8, Air North downed Vertical Limit 93-74, while KFC hammered San Isidro 103-47.
